WHO WE ARE
The Federation of Youth Services (FYS) has over 100 years of history working to empower youth and families who have experienced
sexual and physical abuse, neglect, and homelessness.
Federation of Youth Services has been visionary in ensuring our programming remains relevant to address the problems of today’s youth. We specialize in providing support for youth who are aging out of foster care and face a myriad of challenges in reaching their goal of becoming stable and productive citizens.
We provide housing, mental health resources, employment connections, and educational and life skills support to youth and young adults, ages 16-20 across the State of Michigan. We believe it is our responsibility to create opportunities for youth to not only become independent but to use the skills they learn to become change agents in their communities.
